About Me

Black Iron Bentley is an amazing young male from a very special pairing that we did in 2023.  He appraised at 93.8% at just 16 months of age, which puts him in the position of being the highest linear appraised male Boerboel globally.  He broke our older male KS Judge’s record which he had held for over 7 years, and it was a bittersweet moment for us!  In May 2025 he was reappraised at 94.1%, making him the highest linear appraised Boerboel in breed history. Time will tell what type of stud dog he is and if he can produce his own quality or better.  His good health scores put him directly into the SABBS Stud register, and his Optimal Selection Genetics testing is clear.

Bentley is a very sweet and loving young male that is still very young in the brain:). While Bentley is a beautiful boy and we are so very proud to have produced him, he still has a lot of developing to do!  In the meantime we will just sit back and continue to let him bake:). Bentley is by Qouvadis Partner in Crime(aka Dillon), 87.4% x Black Iron Boston, 91.3%. Dillon is a 1/2 brother to KS Judge via KS Huey.  Boston to my knowledge has been the highest linear appraised SABBS brindle female in the world for some time, and her mother KS Bikkiejoi was the highest linear appraised SABBS female in the world for a few years as well. Boston is also the mother to our Black Iron Riff.

In Aug 2025 we had an extremely tragic accident, and lost Bentley due to him chasing cows. Thankfully we have (7) of his offspring living in the area locally, and we do have frozen semen on Bentley that will be used in the future.
